The UAE will experience “unstable” weather conditions and possible rainfall across the country on Sunday, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
In its forecast, the NCM noted that moderate to fresh winds over parts of the country may cause dust and sand to rise into the air, and is warning motorists to observe caution on the UAE’s roads in the event of reduced visibility.
Additionally, members of the public are being urged to avoid places in which water might collect, particularly in highland areas and in valleys.
Lastly, the public is also being told to avoid the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, where strong winds are expected to cause turbulent conditions.
Heavy rains and thunderstorms hit parts of the UAE over the weekend, particularly in Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.
