Nakheel Properties announced plans to light up the trunk of the iconic Palm Jumeirah island with a 16 km of light display for festive days and national holidays.
A video posted by Dubai Media office showed the Palm monorail, highway overpasses, bridges and a new shoreline promenade Club Vista Mare, illuminated by multi-coloured projections.

Holidays such as UAE National Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s day will see themed light displays in the colours of the Emirati flag, a video tweeted by the media office said, without further details on when the shows would start.
“Nakheel to light up Palm Jumeirah with a 16 km display of colour with special displays on key dates such as UAE National Day & New Year’s eve,” another tweet posted by stae news agency WAM said.
