India’s strong presence at WETEX and Dubai Solar Show highlights bilateral trade opportunities

As many as 26 companies from India are participating in the 25th session of the Water, Energy and Environment Technology Exhibition (WETEX) and Dubai Solar Show (DSS).

The Indian participants, associated with the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), are engaged in sectors such as power, energy, water, solar, and engineering.

Besides showcasing their latest innovative products and technologies, the Indian companies will also be exploring bilateral trade opportunities with the UAE.

Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of DEWA, Founder and Chairman of WETEX and Dubai Solar Show, said: “The event represents an annual opportunity to consolidate investments, partnerships and commercial relations, especially in the areas of clean and renewable energy, digital transformation, smart grids and sustainability.

“The Indian market is one of the most important strategic global markets for the UAE, as it holds promising opportunities for investment and growth,” he said.

The three-day event will come to a close on Friday.

The event is drawing a large number of visitors, indicating interest and potential for future collaborations.

WETEX is a leading international exhibition and conference dedicated to water, energy, sustainability, and green technologies.

It is held annually in Dubai and is organised by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA).
