A man who opened fire on a security vehicle and a house in Kuwait on Wednesday night ultimately turned the gun on himself, according to media reports.
Initial reports from the state news agency KUNA, stated that security forces had surrounded a house in the Ali Sabah AlSalem area, where the armed man was located.
It was later reported in Arabic daily Al Watan Kuwait that the man, who was described as being ex-military personnel, had shot himself. He was named by the Ministry of Interior as Um Al Hayman.
