In pictures: Abu Dhabi Motors presented the unique Rolls-Royce Phantom Tranquility

Of the 25 available globally, two statement Phantom Tranquillity motor cars are now on show at Abu Dhabi Motors. Tranquillity Phantom, inspired by space exploration, features a unique Gallery inspired by the X-Ray coded aperture masks used on the British Skylark space rocket and, for the first time in a Rolls-Royce, incorporates meteorite as an aesthetic embellishment.

With only 25 Tranquillity motor cars in existence, Abu Dhabi Motors bear two, in contrasting colours.

Tranquillity expresses Phantom’s standing as the rarest and most desired car in the world.

The two Extended Wheelbase motor cars are inspired by the light and dark sides of the moon; the Arctic White and Selby Grey leather interiors offer a synergic contrast from the Crystal over Black exteriors, and Crystal over Arctic White exteriors.

Perhaps amongst the most signature features of the Tranquillity is the Volume Controller.

In a unique first for Rolls-Royce, the knob contains remnants of the Muonionalusta meteorite, which fell to earth in Kiruna, Sweden in 1906.

The event is marked by an inscription of the date and location of the meteorite’s discovery within the motor car.

The car is adorned by gold accent features, alongside gloss, satin and metallic effects throughout, with tone-on-tone stitched embroidery on the Extended Wheelbase door panels for further crafted detail.
