In pictures: Record-breaking 2020 Ras Al Khaimah Half Marathon

Ababel Yeshaneh from Ethiopia and Kibiwott Kandie from Kenya were the winners of the 2020 Ras Al Khaimah Half Marathon, held at Al Marjan Island on Friday. Attracted 5,200 runners across a variety of categories that included full half marathon, a relay, 5 km and a 1 km fun run.

Yeshaneh from Ethiopia smashes World Record in the women’s race with a time of 64:31.

Men’s race is won by Kandie from Kenya with a time of 58:58

Brigid Kosgei and Ababel Yeshaneh battle for the lead.

Yeshaneh continues to enjoy success in the United Arab Emirate having been victorious in the 2018 ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon.
