Video: This is “an exciting time to be a Saudi woman,” Mae Al Mozaini says

Sharing her thoughts ahead of the Arabian Business KSA Women’s Excellence Awards, the CEO of nusf talks about bridging gender gaps within the corporate world and the society at large

Mae Al Mozaini, the CEO of nusf – The Arab Institute for Women’s Empowerment, spoke to the Arabian Business Editor-in-Chief Staff Writer in a fireside chat at the Arabian Business KSA Women’s Excellence Awards.

“What an exciting time it is to be a Saudi woman – we are the number one most educated women in the region and 10 in the world,” Mae Al Mozaini said.

She talked about the gender gap higher up the corporate ladder and how women cannot advance if they don’t have the support of society, including men. “It should not be us versus them.”

When asked about her dreams for the future, Mae Al Mozaini said: “My plan is to never talk about women again. We just want to talk about society. I don’t want to see any gaps in our country or others.”
