The Group Head of Corporate Communications at IFFCO Group, Hawazen Al Maddah, captivated the room at the Arabian Business KSA Women’s Excellence Awards with her ‘open letter to her future self’.
“I was asked to give this speech and I know I could talk to you about female empowerment, breaking the bias, or even gender-based rights – but that’s not what we all have in common in this ballroom,” Hawazen Al Maddah said.
“What we all have in common is that we have no clue about the unknown, yet we all want to exit our experience in life happy, content, achieved, and having accomplished so much of what becomes pivotal moments in history.
“In essence, we all want to know what the future holds. However, the best way to predict the future is to create it, as Abraham Lincoln once said,” Hawazen said.
