Jobseekers from the Indian subcontinent are the most in-demand by employers in the Gulf region, according to a recent survey by jobs portal Naukrigulf.
The Naukrigulf Hiring Outlook Report highlights a diverse workforce with significant representation from various nationalities. Indians (31 percent), Filipinos (22 percent) and Arabs (21 percent) are the “most in-demand talent groups”.
“This diversity underscores the Gulf’s appeal as a multicultural employment hub,” the report said.
Salary mismatches and skill shortages are major hurdles for employers. Addressing salary expectations and skill gaps is going to be crucial for successful recruitment, the survey said.
