UAE weather forecasters are expecting probable rainfall in parts of the country this week and over the weekend.
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) issued a weather forecast for the UAE up to Sunday, December 15.
As well as light rainfall, the NCM has also told people in the UAE to be on the lookout for mist and fog.

- Thursday, December 12: Partly cloudy to cloudy at times, low clouds may be associated with light rainfall over some coastal areas and islands during daytime. Humid by night and Friday morning with a chance of fog or mist formation over some internal areas. Light to moderate Northeasterly to Southeasterly winds, freshening at times with a speed of 10 – 25kmph reaching 40 kmph. The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea
- Friday, December 13: Fair to partly cloudy, and cloudy at times by night over some Northern areas and islands. Humid by night and Saturday morning with a chance of fog or mist formation over some coastal and internal areas. Light to moderate Northwesterly becoming Southeasterly winds, freshening at times with a speed of 10 – 25kmph reaching 35kmph. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea
- Saturday, December 14: Partly cloudy to cloudy at times over some coastal, Northern areas and islands with a probability of light rainfall. Humid by night and Sunday morning with a probability of fog or mist formation over some internal areas. Light to moderate Southeasterly becoming Northwesterly winds, freshening at times with a speed of 10 – 25kmph reaching 35kmph. The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in Oman Sea
- Sunday, December 15: Partly cloudy to cloudy at times over some Northern and Eastern areas with a probability of light rainfall. Humid by night and Monday morning with a probability of fog or mist formation over some internal areas. Light to moderate Northwesterly to Northeasterly winds, freshening at times with a speed of 10 – 25kmph reaching 35kmph. The sea will be slight to moderate becoming rough by evening in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea
