Saudi Arabia‘s National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a warning for moderate to heavy thunderstorms across most regions from Wednesday until Sunday.
Authorities forecast that Makkah region governorates—including Makkah city, Jeddah, Rabigh, Al-Jumum, Al-Kamil, Bahra, Al-Laith, Qunfudhah, Taif, Adham, Maysan, Al-Ardiyat, Al-Mawiya, Al-Khormah, Raniyah, and Turbah—will face moderate to heavy rainfall with potential flash floods and hail. Dust storms with speeds reaching 60 km/h are expected in these areas.
The Madinah region, including the governorates of Madinah, Khaybar, Badr, Al-Mahd, Wadi Al-Fara, and Hanakiyah, will experience similar conditions with moderate to heavy rain, dust storms, flash floods, and hail.

The Al-Baha region will also face moderate to heavy rains with dust storms reaching 60 km/h, alongside flash floods and hail.
In the Asir region, forecasters predict moderate to heavy rainfall, with peak intensity expected on Friday and Saturday. These storms will be accompanied by dust and sand storms reaching 60 km/h, flash floods, and hail.
Jazan region residents should prepare for moderate to heavy rains with dust storms reaching 60 km/h, flash floods, and hail. Najran region will experience moderate rains with dust storms, flash floods, and hail.
Lighter conditions are forecast for Riyadh, Qassim, Hail, the Eastern Province, the Northern Borders, Al-Jouf, Al-Baha, and Jazan regions, where light to moderate rains with active downdrafts raising dust and sand are expected from Wednesday until Sunday.
