A Jordanian Royal is set to wed on June 1, here is all you need to know and where you can watch the event live

Crown Prince Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II and Rajwa Bint Khalid Bin Musaed Bin Saif Bin Abdulaziz AlSeif are set to wed on June 1. The Jordanian Royal wedding will be livestreamed for those who wish to witness the grand event.

The Royal wedding will be a multi-day event with multiple celebrations and the wedding day will take place from 1 PM to 7 PM GMT on June 1.

For those who want to watch the royal event, Roya TV will be covering the event live which can be streamed through web or application.

AlMamlaka TV’s YouTube channel will also be covering the event live.

Who is the Crown Prince Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II?

Born in Amman on June 28, 1994, Crowne Prince Al Hussein is the eldest son of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdulla, the 42nd direct descendant of Prophet Mohammad. The Crowne Prince has three siblings – one brother and two sisters.

He completed his schooling at King’s Academy in Jordan and went on to study International History at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. The Crowne Prince currently holds the rank of Captain in the Jordan Armed Forces.

In his spare time, Crowne Prince AlHussein enjoys sports including football, dicing and archery. He also has interest in riding motorbikes and adventure sports.

Headed by King Abdullah II, the Jordanian branch of the Hashemites are direct descendants of Prophet Mohammad, the family has a history of over 1,000 years in the Midde East and are long-standing guardians of the Islamic faith.

Who is Rajwa Bint Khalid Bin Musaed Bin Saif Bin Abdulaziz AlSeif?

Born in Saudi Arabia on April 28, 1994, Rajwa AlSeif is the daughter of Khalid binMusaed bin Saif bin Abdulaziz Alseif and Azza bint Nayef Abdulaziz Ahmad Al Sudairi. She has three siblings – two older brothers and one older sister. Her father is the founder of El Seif Engineering Contracting in the Kingdom.

She completed her education in Saudi Arabia and went on to pursue architecture from the Syracuse University in New York. She also holds a degree in visual communications from the Fashion Institue of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles.

Rajwa AlSeif’s hobbies include horseback riding, drawing, handmade arts and creative digital architectural designs. She is also fluent in the languages of English and French in addition to Arabic.

The Islamic Marriage Ceremony will take place at the Zahran Palace with 140 guests in attendance including members of the Royal Hashemite family.

The newlyweds will then commute from the Zahran Palace to Al Husseiniya Palace as part of the Motorcade procession, the location is also where the wedding reception will take place.
