Pilgrims are not allowed to repeat Umrah during Ramadan, according to Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. Pilgrims only have the right to perform it once.

The announcement was made to give equal opportunity for all other pilgrims who want to perform Umrah during the Holy month, with ease and comfort.

The ministry added that pilgrims must obtain a permit from the Nusuk app to perform Umrah, and stressed that they give “importance of their commitment to the specified time.”

The Umrah date cannot be amended, however, pilgrims can delete their appointment through the Nusuk app and then issue a new permit, given that the appointment is deleted before entering the permit time.

The ministry also noted that appointments are periodically updated and pilgrims can look for another date and time, if they are unable to make a reservation at their planned date and time.
