Saudi Arabia said over 4.25 million worshippers and visitors visited the Presidency of the Prophet’s Mosque during the holy week this year.
The Presidency said it intensified its work this year to provide improved services on security, service and health for the pilgrims and visitors to perform their worship with ease.
It said more than 6.7 million worshippers benefited from the sites designated for the elderly, and over 14.77 million attended scientific lessons in the Prophet’s Mosque.
More than 46.13 million gifts were distributed to the worshippers and visitors this time, it said.
