Oman has announced Eid Al Fitr holidays for employees in the State’s Administrative Apparatus and other legal entities, as well as for establishments of the private sector, according to a report by the Oman Observer.

The holidays will be from Thursday, April 20 to Monday, April 24, 2023. Employees can expect a five-day weekend, and work will resume on Tuesday, April 25.

Residents looking for a short getaway during the long weekend can travel to Oman.

Recently in March, Oman announced that it is offering visa-free entry for up to 14 days to tourists from over 100 countries.

The move is aimed at encouraging more tourists to visit Oman, which is known for its natural beauty, rich history, and unique culture.

That being said, here is the full list of over 100 countries eligible for visa-free travel, according to the Foreign Ministry of Oman.

Along with Oman, the UAE has also announced a four-day weekend for the public and private sector on Wednesday.

Employees in the UAE will resume work on Monday, April 25.
