Following the fire that took place early Monday morning in Emaar’s 8 Boulevard Walk Tower in Downtown Dubai, a resident reached out to Arabian Business providing clarity on the situation of those affected by the blaze that was extinguished before 4 AM.

Residents have been placed at several Emaar hotels downtown, including Rove Downtown, Address Fountain Views, Address Dubai Mall and other Emaar downtown hotels.

“The whole experience was obviously very scary but to be fair to Emaar, they couldn’t have looked after us better. They have given us incredibly nice rooms, we are being kept informed constantly on the situation with the tower and we have been told that some of us may even be able to go back as early as tomorrow,” the resident of 8 Boulevard Walk Tower told Arabian Business.

The building seems to have extensive fire damage on the façade panning through all floors, several videos were shared about the massive fire. The project was developed by Emaar in 2008.
