A survey by YouGov initiated by GROHE to understand whether increasing energy prices make people change showering habits and invest in energy-saving bathroom fittings.

The survey data revealed that in three out of nine countries 50 percent of the population have changed showering habits to save water and energy costs.

More than 40 percent of the respondents in the UK and the US have revealed that they will not consider a change in showering habits.

Data from the survey concluded that a large number of individuals have opted for colder, shorter or fewer showers amid the current energy crisis in many parts of Europe and beyond. The results also reveal that many individuals have installed water, energy and cost saving bathroom fittings or are planning to do so.

Although the data shows higher consideration for water usage, there is also a vast potential for unused resource saving which according to the survey can be as high as €1,035 ($1057).
