Armada Group said it plans to begin construction on Armada Towers project in Dubai with expected investments exceeding Dhs1 billion. The three Armada Towers are to house 1200 apartments in Nakheel’s Jumeirah Lake Towers development. Armada Towers will occupy 20 000 m2. The cost of land is Dhs55 million.
The project is to be ready by the first half of 2007. Adnan Safarini is construction consultant, whilst APCC is to handle the piling. Foundation work, budgeted at Dhs12 million, is to take around four months.
“Armada Towers will perhaps be the most contemporary of all the buildings in Dubai,” claimed Dr. Mohammed Raheef Hakmi, Armada chairman. The three buildings are conceived as sails of a ship with curved glass domes. They will have 2100 m2 of external and 1500 m2 of internal retail space, and 12 penthouses, four in each tower. The complex will have a health club, roof top swimming pool, high-speed lifts and modern security systems. Apart from spacious lobby areas, there will be restaurants and designer boutiques.
“Apartments will range from the stylish and compact studio, through to the more spacious one-, two and three-bedrooms. There is also the luxurious top of the line penthouse layouts,” explained Hakmi. “The studio apartments will be located on each floor, facing the front of the building, whilst the one-bedroom apartments will be available on both sides of the tower. They will overlook the marina and the coast on one side, or the lakes development on the other,” he added.
Measuring over 150 m2, the two bedroom apartments will offer spacious accommodation, including balconies to maximise the views. The three-bedroom apartments boast up to 210 m2, with two bathrooms and two balconies.
Armada Group has opened a sales administrative centre for the project at its offices in Dubai. Armada Towers are freehold properties and are offered with financial packages to make payments for the buyer easier. Also, a full residency visa is procured with ownership. The developers will provide the option of installing a state-of-the-art smart-home technology system.
