Ritz-Carlton heads for DIFC

The hotel company is to expand its Dubai presence with a 330-room venture at DIFC.

Ritz-Carlton is to open a 330-room hotel at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), Gulf News reports.

The company’s second Dubai hotel, scheduled to open in 2008, will include 121 serviced apartments.

Simon Cooper, president and CEO of Ritz-Carlton said the hotel will target senior business travellers and described the regional expansion as a ‘tremendous opportunity.’
