Dubai property giants chase Indian investors at Mumbai show

Emaar, Nakheel and Deyaar among developers to showcase projects at Dubai Property Show in Indian city

Dubai property giants are heading to Mumbai, India, for the second edition of Dubai Property Show as they seek to attract growing numbers of Indian investors.

Organised by Sumansa Exhibitions in partnership with Dubai Land Department, the real estate exhibition will kick off on Friday and runs until Sunday.

After a successful run in London and Hong Kong, the 5th edition of the show will present an exclusive showcase of Dubai real estate to Indian nationals – the most prolific investors in Dubai’s real estate.

India is traditionally the top non-GCC foreign property buyer in Dubai, with an investment of AED7.27 billion in the first six months of 2016 alone.

The exhibition, which will be inaugurated by Dr Ahmed Al Banna, UAE Ambassador to India, will be attended by more than 30 developers including Emaar Properties, Dubai Properties, Nakheel, Damac Properties, and Deyaar.

Sultan Al Suwaidi, of Sumansa Exhibitions, said: “This exhibition has been quite instrumental in bridging the gap between property giants of the UAE and Indian investors, facilitating sales, and in general creating a meeting point for both parties and the relationship is marked with mutual profit.”
